Editing

I am working on my first round of edits this weekend. Nothing major, just a few thousand grammatical errors :)

I did find out something very interesting about myself. Well, it was interesting to me. Partly because I’m convinced there is some deep seeded emotional meaning in my writing. I’m also pretty sure that if I were to read my manuscripts backwards, I would open a porthole to a mystical universe where King Cheesecake rules over the Toffee kingdom with fairness and love.

Ok, I just had to scroll up to remember what I was even talking about :) From my editor, I learned that I use the words “that”, “and then” and “then” a lot in my writing. Isn’t that bizarre? Most people overuse adverbs or have an addiction to commas, but not me. I have other issues :)

    LOL!!

If “that” is the worst issue you have to deal with, it can’t be “that” bad! Ha Ha! Get it? That bad?!

Hey, when can I read the latest draft? I am dying to get my hands on this book! Is it still coming out on 4/2/2012?
