For all you authors out there, I have questions:
- Do you design your own covers
- Do you have an illustrator on staff
- Do you contract each cover
- Do you use a stock photo site?
Here’s the thing. I am looking to self-publish Silver Wings. Maybe. Which means I get to do the cover of my own book. Dream come true, right? Uh uh. I am not sure this is the best option for me. I found the perfect images on Shutterstock that I want to use, but is that the way to go? I just don’t know. I need to find out whatever everyone else does before I make a decsion.
On the happy front, Torn is in it’s final round of revisions! Yippee!! Genius Editor LOVES all the improvements I made during the last round and she LOVES my characters and she just plain LOVES me. Ok, maybe not that last part. But Torn has come such a long way and I’ve worked so hard and now I can’t wait to share it with the world. We are still on schedule for February 2013. If anything changes, you will know about it!
I make lots of announcements on Twitter WAY before I write about them here. If you don’t have Twitter, it’s ok. My tweets automatically post to my Facebook page. If you don’t have that either, then where’s your time machine? Because you obviously do not live in this space and time. Now that I’ve weeded out those people, follow me on Twitter and/or Facebook.

Well I know that I love Torn just as much as she does!! I can’t wait for Feb to get here so I can read more of it.
I don’t have Twitter, can I get in on this time machine action?! I would like to go back to Chico, 1996…
